Sale leftovers in Oisterwijk for the renovation project
On a very hot Sunday, August the 28 th 2005, the leftovers of the flee market in Turnhout were for sale again at the Leye –Flee market in Oisterwijk. It was a huge in-door market with 100 market stalls and also many stalls outside. Next to our Foundation there was only one other foundation present (Roemania). For the Foundation it was the first time presenting ourselves to such a big and broad public. Many people were interested in the brochure and the additional information which was available at the stall. We definitely gained more name recognition in Oisterwijk! The regional newspaper ‘Het Brabants Dagblad’ published a big article on top of all this. We received a lot of positive reactions from the crowd at both markets and from readers of the newspaper. The great result of the flee markets (Turnhout & Oisterwijk) made us decide to organize a flee market next year (2006) again!
We gave the stuff we had not sold to the organizers of the ‘second hand’ market in Hilvarenbeek, the profit goes to the organizers of activities for the older people at elderly house ‘de Clossenborch’.
Thanks to Hannie, Pidi, Liesbeth and Marijke, who did a good job in helping us selling our stuff at the flee market!
