Old coins for Jasinga
Our volunteer and ambassador Bep has travelled along lots of primary schools in the region. Via the teachers she did a call out to all the children: to look for old coins at home, collect them and donate them to the Foundation. Old Dutch coins (guilders) can still be exchanged for euro’s in 2006. The search for coins has not resulted in a huge amount of money but has received very warm responses and support from the children, teachers and parents.
