Singing in the Rain: ‘The Three Wise Man’
Saturday the 6 th of January 2007 was a very wet and cloudy day. This did not stop 40 children from Diessen to go from door to door singing their songs according to the tradition of the Three Wise Man. The children made their own songs about the school in Jasinga.
After making their way around the neighbourhood the children went back inside for a nice cup of hot chocolate, biscuits and little presents. All groups were given a chance to sing their song again in front of a jury. It was not easy to choose a winner out of all the amazing performances but Jenai, Amber and Nova won the first price with their song about Jasinga. The Foundation was present at the school with an information booth and games for the children. Volunteer Bep gave a great presentation with heaps of pictures of Jasinga. Everyone was cheering when the amount raised was announced: €394,34!
