Sponsorwalk Tijl Uilenspiegel
235 Students from the Tijl Uilenspiegel primary school were waiting at the school’s courtyard for the start of the sponsor walk. Director Leon Boom reminded the children of the projects in Jasinga. Els Kepers, secretary of SYJ, counted down the seconds. All the children were counting down loudly with Els and took off as soon as they heard the starting sign. Every child carried a form that got stamped every time the student finished another lap. The more laps, the more money for the good cause! The children were motivated by their parents and supporters. There was music and the children continued walking. Some students walked 40 laps! Hurray for the students of the Tijl Uilenspiegel school, well done!
