Support the Sponsor Run in New York!
In 2004, 6 people from Achil including Arnold ran the sponsor run for Jasinga in Chigaco (doorklik activities page 2004). This was not only an unforgettable experience but also a very succesful fundraising activity with a good result for the children in Jasinga. It was from then onwards that the runners from Achil ’87 had a special relationship with SYJ.
This year, Arnold Davies will run the Marathon of New York with 9 other runners. The Marathon takes place on Sunday 2 November. They run for two charities. Ofcourse again for the children in Jasinga. But also for Cancer. One of the runners has a girlfriend who has personally experienced the role good cancer treatments can play. However, some of these treatments require very expensive equipment that is out of reach of most hospital budgets.
